In 2025 the New Era Cap Foundation began hosting its annual International Women's Day Celebration with a goal of showcasing women in leadership and the paths they took to get where they are, and inspiring the next generation of women leaders to reach their full potential.
 

The celebration features a dynamic panel of accomplished women in leadership, who share their journeys, insights, and strategies for building inclusive and empowering workplaces and communities. Through candid conversation, the panel explores how collaboration, reciprocity, and abundance-driven leadership can unlock opportunities for the next generation of women.​
 

The event also includes a keynote address from a distinguished speaker: in 2025 we were joined by Shiza Shahid, the Co-founder and Co-CEO of Our Place, a mission-driven brand reimagining kitchenware for the modern, global kitchen. Before Our Place, Shiza co-founded the Malala Fund with Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafazi, serving as its founding CEO to champion every girl's right to education. Shiza's message to our attendees was clear: is there anything more powerful than when women support women?

In 2027 we were joined by Geena Davis, an Academy Award winning actor, world-class athlete, member of the genius society Mensa, author, and tireless advocate for women and girls. Geena's work exemplifies the spirit of the 2026 theme  “Give to Gain,” offering inspiration and practical perspectives on how individuals and organizations can create lasting impact through intentional giving.

Together, during International Women’s Day and beyond, we celebrate the idea that when we give, whether through knowledge, support, or opportunity, we all gain, moving closer to a more equitable and empowered world.
