The New Era Cap Foundation supports a range of nonprofit organizations, with a particular focus on those aligned with our five primary pillars, and those located within Western New York and the regions where New Era Cap, LLC operates.

Grant Eligibility Guidelines
While we would love to support every deserving cause brought to us, the volume of requests exceeds our capacity to fund them all.
To be considered for a grant, an organization must meet the following minimum eligibility requirements:
Operate as a recognized 501(c)3 public charity
We are unable to provide a grant award to the following:
Religious organizations for non-secular purposes
Political organizations, candidates, or lobbying efforts
Individuals or private foundations
Organizations that discriminate
Due to the large number of requests we receive from youth sports teams and commitments we already have in place, we are unable to accept grant requests for individual youth sports teams at this time.
Grant Application Process
All requests for support must be submitted through our Foundation’s online application system. We do not accept applications through mail or email.

The link will lead you to the Giving Hub, where you will need to create a free account.
You may save your application as a draft and re-visit the Giving Hub when you are ready to finish working on it. Please note, applications expire after 30 days.
Approved applicants will be asked to complete our formal grant proposal application.
Once a grant proposal is received and also approved, details on when the grant will be awarded will be communicated with the organization directly.
Grant Timeframe
The New Era Cap Foundation accepts applications on an ongoing, year-round basis. Grants are awarded on a quartlerly basis, though you may hear from us sooner if additional information is needed or a decision is made sooner. Proposals for grant awards take on average four to six months from start to finish.
